Finding peace:
Today makes the 7th month in our 2008
Calendar Year…..
Welcome summer and the month of July….
I have a birthday this month and so July is a very special month for me, I look forward to the wisdom
of another year in my life…
Over the past two or three years I have been on the search of peace, looking for it inside and out… I have
thought that peace was something that would free me from the feelings of despair and hopelessness… I thought that to
have peace one must live in a somewhat perfect World…
My findings have proven me wrong…. Peace is something that lives within us to help the bad times
seem shorter and easier to bear… Peace is intern soil ice with your self, peace is hope and understanding… Peace
is love and giving… Peace is something that you must cultivate to have… Peace is the love that you express to
yourself and others… Peace is forgiving and everlasting…
I never imagined that I would be able to over come the obstacles in my way, as so many understand in
today’s economy worries of money and the pressure of loosing what has taken so long to achieve just seem to be falling
away… We as humans are taken back in our emotions and so much of our ego and pride are at risk… Everyday seems
like an up hill clime without an end in sight…
If you live in a State that is struggling because of the natural disasters at hand you might feel like
the Universe is out to get you… Nothing is making sense today…
There is peace to be found, Peace is something that is in your reach… It is there
for all of us to enjoy…
Everyday
I wake up (I hate to get up!!!!) I take the time to say a few words to my sprit and my Heavenly being… I take the time
to express my thankfulness and ask that today I am able to feel the peace and learn from my experiences… At first I
didn’t think that anything was really happening… At first I walked though my day without seeing all the opportunity
that was all around me…
At
night before I fall to sleep I again open my minds eye to the realm of imagination… I ask that I be blessed and all
the people I love be blessed and all the people all around the World be given blessings, and then I say this simple little
phrase… “You already know what I need, please help me to know what I need…”
So find your recipe to peace, open your heart and
your mind to the Heavens…. Remember love takes time and so does the practice of Peace… When you are not looking
for the changes, they will happen and you will one day wake up with the peace in your soul that was misplaced by despair…
